DT Locations: Son Moix Stadium

Son Moix Stadium, in Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain, appeared in 5 episodes of DT, three in Season 3 (2000) and two in Season 5 (2001).

Reaching the UEFA Cup Quarter Final, Harchester at home at the Dragon's Lair face Real Mallorca for the First Leg. The game also sees the first match played against de-throned Harchester king Karl Fletcher having been sold to Mallorca the previous summer, and he wastes no time showing his old side, particularly Billy O'Neill, that he can still command respect, signing autographs for the Harchester fans. It is therefore the cruellest irony that after a nil-all first half, Fletch relishes scoring the one and winning goal, thanks to a corner kick from Jovan Stanković.

A week later it's the Second Leg at the Son Moix. As with the First it is a goalless first forty-five, but into the second half Scott Lucas gives Harchester the lead and makes sure Fletch knows about it in his goal celebration! Scott is then brought down by Gustavo Siviero in the 88th minute and takes the awarded penalty, but agonisingly misses. After Carlitos equalises, time runs out and a 1-1 draw sees Mallorca knock Harchester out on a 1-goal lead.

It is a more victorious visit when Harchester are drawn against Real Mallorca two seasons later, for their Champions League First Leg Qualifying Round opener. This time with Danny Rawsthorne in the squad, he takes the team 1-up before Albert Luque scores for Mallorca. Assisted by Belanov, Danny sends a second to the back of the net and Harchester win 2-1.

The Dragons have had a managerial change from Rothman to Spears by the time Real Mallorca come to the Lair. And while Danny brings the magic once more to contribute a goal, Mallorca fire back three times with Miguel Ángel Nadal nine minutes in, Leo Biagini on the cusp on half time, and Samuel Eto’o with only five minutes to go, taking Harchester out of the Champions League.

Harchester's visits to the Son Moix take place under Fernando Vázquez (November 1999 - June 2000) and Bernd Krauss (July - October 2001)
